The Energy Component ranged between USD 0/MWh and USD 94.3/MWh. Last Sunday saw atypical market behavior driven by solar congestion, which pushed reference node prices into a narrow range of USD 20–30/MWh from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
In particular, Ticul experienced elevated congestion costs from Sunday through Tuesday, with these charges accounting for approximately 38% of its total energy price. However, prices in the region realigned with the broader system later in the week.
Additionally, Legacy Contract offers posted the most significant increase of the week, rising by 1.7 percentage points.

Henry Hub natural gas benchmark closed the week at an average of USD 3.3/MMBtu, increasing by 7.27%. Escalating tensions between Iran and Israel are fueling increased volatility in global gas markets, driving prices sharply higher
WTI, Brent, and MME crude oil benchmarks prices were -12.2%, -11.8%, and -11.9% from the previous week, respectively, closing at USD 66.78/bbl., USD 69.96/bbl., and USD 61.99/bbl. On June 23, Tehran’s retaliatory strike on a U.S. base in Qatar triggered Brent’s largest single-day drop since July 2022. Downward pressure deepened after June 24, as reports of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel strengthened expectations of uninterrupted shipments through the Strait of Hormuz—a critical passageway for around 20 million barrels of crude and petroleum products daily.
